I want a clean, reliable Excel workbook that lets me handle a full month’s payroll without extra software. The sheet has to:
• Accept employee details I type in manually—names, pay rates, standard hours, overtime hours and any notes.
• Calculate gross salary and overtime pay automatically as soon as I enter the figures.
• Roll everything into a neat monthly summary so I can see totals for each employee and the overall payroll cost at a glance.
A ready-to-use monthly payroll template is essential; I should be able to duplicate it for future months without breaking the formulas. Please keep the layout straightforward, protect any formula cells, and include a brief how-to tab so anyone on my team can update the file confidently.
