Excel Inventory Tracker Spreadsheet (maintaining supplies & theft prevention)

I want a clean, reliable Excel workbook that lets me stay on top of my supply stock levels at a glance. The sheet has to capture three essentials for every item I carry: the product name, its current quantity on hand, and the most recent date of order. From there I’d like a simple dashboard—charts or graphs inside the file—so I can instantly see overall stock trends without digging through rows of data.

Core layout: a master table where I can add or edit items quickly, plus a read-only section that feeds the visualizations. I’m not asking for automatic stock-level pulls or low-stock alerts right now; manual entry is fine as long as the charts refresh whenever numbers change. Good use of structured references, named ranges, or a PivotTable setup is welcome if it keeps the file scalable.

Deliverables:
• Excel (.xlsx) template with formatted data table
• Dynamic charts (bar, line, or combination) reflecting total units and update cadence
• Brief, clear instructions inside the workbook so anyone on the team can maintain it

Keep it all within native Excel—no external add-ins—so the file works on both recent Windows and macOS versions of Microsoft 365.
