Excel Financial Data Specialist

I have a collection of Excel files with raw financial figures that I need turned into a clean, usable dataset and a brief insights snapshot. The work is straightforward but must be handled with accuracy and confidentiality.

Here’s what I need:
• Data entry – copy or move figures between sheets so everything sits in one consolidated workbook.
• Data cleaning – remove duplicates, fix obvious typos, align date and currency formats, and flag any numbers that look out of place.
• Basic analysis – once the data is tidy, run simple pivot tables, summary totals, and a quick variance or trend check so I can spot key movements at a glance.

Everything stays inside Excel, so solid command of formulas, filters, and pivots is essential. If you’re comfortable adding a couple of clear charts or conditional-format highlights to showcase the findings, that’s a bonus.

I’ll share a small sample first to make sure we’re on the same page, then release the remaining files. Accuracy, clear version control, and a short write-up of any assumptions or issues you find will help me wrap this up quickly.
