Excel Data Entry & Formatting
Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR
The job centers on bringing several raw files together into one clean, accurate Excel workbook. I have a mix of short text strings—product names, SKU descriptions, location codes—plus the corresponding inventory counts that must line up row-for-row. Your role is to enter the text data exactly as supplied, key in the inventory numbers without transcription errors, and then reshape each sheet so everything is easy to read and ready for quick analysis.
Here is what has to happen:
• Data entry – copy all supplied text fields and the related inventory figures into the correct columns, respecting spelling, capitalisation and the numerical precision already provided.
• Sheet styling – apply consistent fonts, column widths, clear headings and any simple borders or shading needed so the tables print neatly.
• Accuracy check – run a final pass to confirm totals, spot missing rows and ensure no text strings were truncated during import.
I will supply the source files (CSV and Word) plus a template workbook to match. Please work directly in Microsoft Excel; no Google Sheets conversions this time. When you finish, return the completed .xlsx file along with a brief change log noting any discrepancies you found.
Acceptance criteria
1. All text entries match the original documents character-for-character.
2. Inventory numbers reconcile with the daily summary sheet I will provide (zero variance).
3. Formatting mirrors the template and prints cleanly on A4 with no columns spilling over.
If you are comfortable with standard Excel commands—copy/paste special, simple formatting, and basic error checking—this task should be straightforward.
