Excel Data Cleaning Expert Needed

I have a multi-sheet workbook in Microsoft Excel that needs a thorough cleanup. The file contains mixed data—numbers, text, and the occasional merged cell—that now suffers from duplicate rows, inconsistent date and number formats, and assorted typos or partial entries. In total, more than five sheets must be processed.

Your task is to open the workbook in Excel (or Power Query if you prefer) and return it in a state that is ready for analysis and reporting.

Deliverables
• One updated .xlsx file with:
– All exact and near-exact duplicates removed
– Consistent formatting applied across every column (dates, currency, percentages, text casing)
– Obvious data entry errors corrected or flagged in a separate “Issues” tab
• A short change log noting the main transformations performed so I can audit the work quickly.
