Excel Data Cleaning Coach Needed
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
I’m a beginner in data analysis and want to build solid, real-world skills in data cleaning—specifically in Excel. I’m looking for a patient, hands-on coach who can guide me through practical exercises, explain best practices, and review my work so I understand why each step matters.
What I need from you:
• Short, focused lessons delivered live (screen-share or video call) that walk me through common cleaning tasks—removing duplicates, fixing formatting issues, handling missing values, and using formulas like VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and TEXT functions.
• Simple assignments or sample datasets after each session so I can practice and submit my results for feedback.
• Clear explanations of Excel techniques (Power Query, pivot tables, data validation) and when they are most efficient compared to other tools.
• Guidance on structuring my workflow so future projects scale smoothly.
I currently want to concentrate on Excel, but I’m open to eventually exploring other options such as Python (Pandas) or R once the fundamentals are strong, so flexibility is appreciated.
Please outline:
1. Your experience teaching or mentoring beginners in Excel data cleaning.
2. A suggested session plan or curriculum outline.
3. How you prefer to share files and track my progress.
I value clear communication, actionable feedback, and real examples over theory alone. If you enjoy helping newcomers level up, I’d love to work with you.
