Excel Compressor Maintenance Dashboard Creation

Project Overview
I am looking for an experienced Excel developer to build a maintenance dashboard in Microsoft Excel only (no Power BI) for 13 industrial air compressors at a mine.
The dashboard must track equipment health and service compliance based on running hours and support future date forecasting.

1. Platform
• Microsoft Excel only
• No Power BI, no external databases, no macros unless clearly justified

• 13 compressors (same OEM)
• Each compressor runs approximately 24 hours per day
• Running hours will be manually entered weekly

3. Data Capture
• Input sheet for weekly cumulative running hours
• Asset register for compressor details
• Service history table where completed services are recorded
• Clear separation between input sheets and calculation logic

4. Hours-Based Service Tracking
The dashboard must track the following service intervals per compressor:
• 500 hours
• 1,000 hours
• 2,000 hours
• 4,000 hours
• 8,000 hours
• 22,000 hours
For each service interval, the dashboard must automatically calculate:
• Next service due (hours)
• Remaining hours
• Service status (healthy / due soon / overdue)

• Main dashboard showing all compressors vs all service intervals
• Service status displayed using colour indicators/icons only (no text)
• Overall compressor health based on worst-case service status
• Summary indicators for:
• Services overdue
• Services due soon
• Filters or dropdowns to view individual compressors

• Dashboard must include an “As-At Date” selector
• Changing the date must:
• Forecast running hours based on 24 hrs/day
• Recalculate service status and due dates
• Default view must show current (today’s) status
