Excel-Based Shipping Data Analysis

I have a sizeable spreadsheet of shipping data that first needs to be cleaned—duplicates removed, formats standardised, outliers checked—before any real insights can be trusted. Once the data is tidy, the main objective is to uncover meaningful trends: seasonality in shipment volumes, recurring bottlenecks, route performance over time, and any other patterns your eye and formulae can spot. Everything will be handled inside Microsoft Excel, so I expect you to be comfortable with look-ups, Power Query, pivot tables, dynamic arrays, conditional formatting, and charting. If advanced tools such as Power Pivot or simple VBA scripts will speed things up, feel free to use them. Please highlight similar projects you have completed; I’m particularly interested in experience turning raw operational or logistics data into clear, actionable findings. Deliverables • A cleaned, well-structured workbook with all transformations documented • At least two summary sheets: one visual (charts/dashboards) and one tabular (key metrics) • A short write-up describing the discovered trends and how they were derived I’ll share the file once we agree on the approach and timeline.
