Excel Automation for Data Import & Reporting
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I need my existing workbook turned into a push-button solution. The goal is to import fresh data from external CSV/Excel files automatically, have all the embedded formulas run without manual prompts, and then output a clean report ready to share.
Here is the flow I have in mind:
• Automated import: each time I drop one or more source CSV/XLSX files into a dedicated folder (or select them through a prompt), the workbook should pick them up and load the data into the correct tables.
• Instant calculations: once the data lands, every dependent formula, pivot, or lookup has to refresh so totals, KPIs, and charts are current.
• Report generation: a single click should package the results—ideally into a summary sheet and a PDF export—so management sees only the final numbers, not the raw data.
I’m flexible on the approach: VBA macros, Power Query, or a mix of both—whichever gives a stable, maintainable solution and keeps everything inside Excel. Clear, commented code and a brief hand-off guide are essential so I can tweak ranges or file paths later. If anything in the process needs clarification, let me know up front so we get the build right the first time.
