Enter Numerical Data into Excel

I have a collection of Word documents that hold nothing but numbers—mostly tables of sales figures, inventory counts, and a few one-column lists. I need every single value lifted out of those digital files and placed accurately into a clean, well-structured Excel workbook.

The job is straightforward but detail-sensitive:
• Open each Word document and extract the numbers exactly as they appear.
• Paste or type them into the matching rows and columns of the Excel template I will provide.
• Keep original number formatting (decimals, commas, negatives) intact.
• Double-check totals with simple SUM formulas so we can spot any discrepancies instantly.

When you are done, I expect one Excel file that mirrors the order of the source documents, plus a brief note of any irregularities you found (e.g., unreadable figures, obvious typos in the source). Accuracy is more important than speed, but if you already have proven tricks in Excel or Word to accelerate the transfer, feel free to use them.

If this first batch goes smoothly there will be ongoing spreadsheets to build from similar Word sources, so clear communication and consistency now can turn into repeat work.
