Employee Cultural Misunderstanding Study

Job ID: 40283777

Budget: ₹37,500 – ₹75,000 INR

I am commissioning a focused study that explores how cultural misunderstandings disrupt everyday interactions among employees. The goal is to pinpoint the most common pain-points so organisations can address them before they escalate into bigger collaboration problems.

Scope of work
The research must concentrate exclusively on cultural misunderstandings; issues such as language barriers and non-verbal cues sit outside this project. The participant pool should be current employees drawn from at least two distinct cultural or national backgrounds so the data reflects real-world diversity.

Methodology
You are free to combine qualitative interviews, focus groups and quantitative surveys. Tools like SurveyMonkey or Google Forms for data capture and SPSS, R or NVivo for analysis are perfectly acceptable as long as the final insights are clear, evidence-based and actionable.

Deliverables
• Research design and rationale, signed off before fieldwork begins
• Data collection instruments (survey questions, interview guides)
• Clean, anonymised data set
• Analytical report highlighting the top recurring cultural misunderstandings, their root causes and illustrative quotes or statistics
• Concise executive summary plus slide deck suitable for non-academic stakeholders

Acceptance criteria
The findings must be traceable to the raw data, and every claim needs either a direct quotation or numerical reference. Clarity of writing and visual presentation counts as much as statistical rigour.

Timeline and staging can be discussed after project kickoff, but I expect initial design ideas within the first week so momentum is maintained.
