Ecommerce Speed Optimization Management
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I run an e-commerce site that already converts well, yet visitors are starting to notice sluggish pages. What I need now is steady, data-driven performance monitoring with an unwavering focus on page-load speed.
Scope of work
• Set up or refine real-time monitoring (e.g., Google Analytics, Lighthouse, New Relic, GTmetrix—use whichever combo you trust) to track load times across key pages.
• Deliver concise weekly reports highlighting bottlenecks, trends and quick-win fixes.
• Flag any sudden slowdowns immediately and outline a remedy plan; no surprises at checkout time.
• Recommend and, if agreed, implement optimisations—image compression, code minification, caching layers, CDN tuning, database clean-ups and similar speed-boosting tweaks.
• Document every change so future audits remain transparent.
Acceptance criteria
1. Core product pages consistently load in under two seconds on desktop and under three on mobile (measured with Lighthouse/field data).
2. A clear before-and-after report is submitted for each optimisation round.
3. No critical functionality is broken during speed work; transactions must process smoothly.
If you have a proven track record speeding up online stores, the tools to monitor them and the discipline to keep me updated, this will be a straightforward, ongoing engagement focused purely on performance.
