ETAP Power Station Site Assessment

I’m coordinating an oil-sector R&D project that will rely on several dedicated power stations, but first I need a seasoned electrical engineer to tell us exactly where those stations should go. Your sole mission is site evaluation for power needs: assess each proposed location, run the necessary load-flow and short-circuit studies in ETAP, and advise which sites will support reliable, scalable power with the least technical risk.

What the job involves
• Gather and review any available data we supply on load profiles, existing infrastructure and environmental constraints
• Model each candidate site in ETAP, run the key studies and highlight limitations or required upgrades
• Compare results and present a clear recommendation, including maps or one-line diagrams where useful
• Hand over the native ETAP files plus a concise written report that management can act on immediately

Acceptance criteria
• ETAP simulations reflect all inputs we provide without unexplained assumptions
• Report ranks locations with quantified metrics (voltage drop, fault levels, expansion margin, etc.)
• All conclusions are traceable to calculations shown in the ETAP files
