Doctoral Trade Policy Research Aid
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
My doctorate investigates current international trade policies and their practical impact on cross-border commerce. To move the work toward submission I need reliable support across three main streams: sourcing quality literature, structuring the raw evidence, and—above all—performing rigorous data analysis.
Scope of work
• Source and summarise the most recent peer-reviewed academic journals, key government reports, and relevant industry publications that address tariff developments, non-tariff barriers, and multilateral trade negotiations.
• Build and maintain an annotated database of these sources (APA 7th).
• Extract quantitative indicators (tariff schedules, trade volumes, dispute outcomes, etc.) into clean, analysis-ready spreadsheets.
• Apply suitable statistical techniques—regression, time-series, or comparable methods we agree on—to test the thesis hypotheses, then turn the outputs into clear tables, graphs, and narrative explanations ready for the methodology and findings chapters.
• Provide periodic updates, incorporating supervisor feedback to keep the evolving thesis manuscript current.
Acceptance criteria
1. Every cited source must be traceable via DOI or official institutional link.
2. Data files delivered in both Excel and CSV, with variable dictionaries.
3. Analysis scripts (R, Stata, or Python—your choice) included and reproducible.
4. Written explanations must align with journal-level academic standards and withstand plagiarism checks.
Time frame and stipend are flexible; we will set milestones that align with university deadlines and your workload. If you have a solid background in international trade economics or law and can demonstrate sharp empirical skills, I’m eager to collaborate.
