In-Depth Scientific Data Exposé

Job ID: 39786899

Budget: €8 – €30 EUR

I’m looking for a writer who feels at home inside spreadsheets, code notebooks, and peer-reviewed journals—someone who can translate raw scientific datasets into a clear, compelling exposé. The finished piece must stand on its own as a data-driven article, not a generic overview: every claim should be anchored in numbers, charts, and properly cited research.

Scope
The core task is to interrogate the scientific data I will supply (or that you help source if gaps appear), uncover the story hidden in the numbers, and craft an engaging narrative around those findings. You’ll verify data integrity, run the necessary statistical tests or visualizations, and weave the results into prose that is both accurate for specialists and accessible to an educated lay reader.

Deliverables (acceptance criteria)
• 2,000–2,500-word written article in Word or Google Docs
• All cleaned datasets and code/notebook used for analysis (Python, R, or similar—your choice)
• At least three original data visualizations (PNG/SVG + source files)
• Reference list in APA or journal-style format

Timeline & collaboration
I’ll be available for quick questions throughout the project and will provide initial data, relevant papers, and any required context on day one. A brief outline is due halfway through so we can lock the angle before you draft the full piece.

If you’re fluent in transforming scientific data into stories that inform and persuade, I’d love to see a short note on your analytical toolkit and one sample of similar work.
