Database Merge & Letter Prep
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have two sizeable Excel files that together hold our complete list of customer names, postal addresses, and historical campaign notes. Before my next direct-mail drop goes to print, I need a streamlined workflow that:
• Combines both spreadsheets into one clean master list, removes duplicates, and preserves every marketing-campaign field.
• Segments the final list strictly by geographic location so I can target different regions with tailored copy.
• Produces a polished marketing letter (Word or Google Docs is fine) plus a ready-to-run mail-merge template that pulls the correct fields for each address block and any regional variables I include in the body copy.
I will supply the two Excel workbooks immediately. Please return:
1. The cleaned, de-duplicated master sheet, clearly labeled and filtered views for each region.
2. The finished letter text with merge fields inserted.
3. A brief note on any formulas, VBA, or scripts you used so I can repeat the process next quarter.
Accuracy on address formatting is critical; bounced mail costs me real money. Let me know your approach to quality checking and how soon you can turn this around.
