Database Analysis & Data Migration Expert Needed

We need a developer experienced in database analysis and data migration to help extract and restructure data from an existing question bank dataset.

Our platform already has a defined hierarchical database structure used to organize questions and educational content.

Supported hierarchy structure:

Level 1: Subject
Level 2: System
Level 3: Category
Level 4: Topic (optional)

The system supports flexible depth. A dataset may contain:

• Subject only
• Subject → System
• Subject → System → Category
• Subject → System → Category → Topic

Scope of Work

The developer will:
1. Analyze the provided question bank dataset.
2. Extract question content and associated metadata.
3. Map the extracted content into our existing hierarchical schema.
4. Ensure the following elements are preserved:
• Question IDs
• Answer options
• Correct answers
• Explanations
• Tables
• Images/media references
5. Export the processed data into a format compatible with our platform (JSON or SQL).

Requirements

Please include in your proposal:

• Experience with database analysis or data extraction
• Experience with data transformation / migration
• Familiarity with structured formats such as JSON / SQL
• The tools or approach you would use for mapping the dataset to our schema
