Data center -Enterprise Power & BESS business Case

Job ID: 40544053

Budget: $30 – $250 AUD

I need a concise but defensible business case that shows how an enterprise-scale data centre can transition to a circular-economy energy model. The document must blend three elements:

• A clear power-supply analysis that maps current and projected demand profiles, peak loads, redundancy requirements and grid constraints.
• A technical and financial feasibility study for adding a utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) as well as on-site or nearby solar farms and EV-charging infrastructure.
• A cost-benefit model that weighs capex, opex, incentive schemes and sustainability metrics against reliability, efficiency and carbon-reduction targets.

Please ground every calculation in realistic market data, reference any standards or tools you use (e.g. PVSyst, HOMER, EnergyPlus, Excel, Python), and end with a short executive summary plus an appendix of assumptions.

Acceptance criteria
1. Power demand and generation forecasts shown hourly for at least one typical year.
2. NPV, IRR and payback calculations for multiple scenarios (grid-only, BESS only, solar+BESS, solar+BESS+EV).
3. Risk and sensitivity analysis covering energy-price volatility, battery degradation and incentive changes.

A slide-ready summary and the working spreadsheets/models are required alongside the main report.
