I rely on a dependable computer operator who can keep my day-to-day information flowing smoothly. Your core focus will be accurate data entry from spreadsheets into our internal system, following the field formats I provide and flagging any inconsistencies on the spot.
Beyond the numbers, you will maintain tidy digital real estate: organise project folders, apply the correct sharing permissions for each team, and schedule regular backups with simple recovery checks so nothing ever goes missing. While files move around, you will also keep an eye on basic system-health dashboards, notifying me of storage thresholds, unusual CPU spikes, or service interruptions before they slow us down.
Deliverables
• All assigned spreadsheet records entered and verified each day
• Folder structure updated and documented, with permissions aligned to my access list
• Weekly backup log and quick restore test result
• Brief system-status report highlighting any anomalies
I work in a Windows environment and mostly use Microsoft 365 tools; familiarity with Excel, OneDrive, and simple monitoring utilities (Task Manager, Resource Monitor, or similar) will make the job easier.
