Data Entry and Dashboard Reporting
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Multiple raw datasets—some extracted from PDFs and scanned documents, others already digital—must be cleaned, standardised, and entered into organised spreadsheets or a relational database while preserving strict confidentiality.
Once the data is consistent, the next step is to turn it into actionable information for decision-makers. I will provide business questions and context; you will shape the cleaned data into:
• an interactive dashboard that highlights trends, outliers, and KPIs
• a concise text-based report that explains what the numbers mean in plain language
• the fully cleaned, well-documented data file ready for future use
Excel and Google Sheets are my daily tools, so final workbooks should open flawlessly there; if you prefer SQL or Python for preprocessing, that is completely fine as long as your workflow is reproducible and the final deliverables arrive in the agreed formats.
Fast yet accurate typing is essential—the source material includes tables, handwritten notes, and occasional audio transcriptions, all of which must be entered with minimal errors and consistent formatting. Tight deadlines come with the territory, so an organised approach to validation and error-checking is expected.
Acceptance criteria: the dashboard loads without broken links, the narrative report matches the figures shown, data fields pass random spot-checks for accuracy, and no privacy-sensitive information is exposed.
