Data Analysis Project with IIMA Alumni

Opportunity to work with IIMA alumni, consulting on a project that requires strong data analytics support.
Scope of Work:
The assignment involves two main tasks:
1. Data Consolidation & Cleaning
o Preparation of data that may have inconsistent formats, anomalies, and missing values.
o Consolidate multiple excel files into one master file and clean this data based on agreed rules.
2. Data Analysis & Insights
o Analyze the cleaned data to identify trends and generate actionable insights.
o Data volume is relatively small (< 100000 transactions).
Technical Requirements:
• Strong proficiency in Python (data cleaning, analysis, and visualization).
• Advanced skills in Excel (functions, pivoting, charting).
• Proven expertise in data preparation (cleaning, validation, consolidation).
• Ability to structure outputs clearly and present insights effectively.
• Prior experience with finance or consumer-facing business datasets preferred.

• The focus is on efficient cleaning, consolidation, and insight generation.
• Strong performance on this project may lead to opportunities for collaboration on other projects on a more regular basis.
