HR Data Analysis in Excel

I have a growing volume of employee information that needs to be moved into well-structured Excel workbooks and, more importantly, translated into clear insights. Your focus will be to build and maintain spreadsheets dedicated to employee data and carry out the actual analysis—spotting trends, highlighting anomalies, and producing meaningful summaries that I can act on quickly.

Day to day, you’ll be working solely in Microsoft Excel. That means setting up logical data tables, applying formulas, PivotTables, charts, or any other native Excel tools you know will uncover patterns and help me make informed HR decisions. Accuracy and an eye for detail are essential; there’s no data entry component here, so you’ll be working with information that’s already been collected but still raw.

Key deliverables:
• A clean, well-structured workbook (or set of workbooks) containing the employee data
• An analytical summary—dashboards, charts, or report tabs—that turns the numbers into clear, actionable insights
• A brief explanation of your findings so I understand what the data is telling us and where we should focus next
