Cutting Sheet Spreadsheet Setup

I need a clean, reliable spreadsheet that can accept mixed data and turn it into a ready-to-use cutting sheet. Every row will hold an Item description, Quantity and the relevant Dimensions; those three columns are mandatory and must stay locked in place even if I later add extra fields.

The file should:
• Handle both numbers and text without breaking existing formulas
• Make it easy for me to paste or import new lines of raw data
• Display totals or any simple summaries you feel improve day-to-day use (feel free to suggest)

Please build it in Excel or Google Sheets—whichever you are fastest with—and keep the layout straightforward so a colleague with basic spreadsheet skills can maintain it. Once finished, send me the working file plus a brief note explaining any formulas or data-validation rules you added.
