Custom Medical Data Excel Sheet
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a purpose-built Microsoft Excel workbook that lets my team enter medical data by hand quickly and accurately. The sheet has to be friendly enough for non-technical staff yet structured to keep everything consistent.
What I’m after
• A clear data-entry tab with labeled fields, dropdown lists, and data-validation rules so typos and out-of-range values are caught right away.
• Automatic time-stamps and unique record IDs for every new entry.
• Conditional formatting that highlights missing or conflicting information.
• Locked formulas and hidden reference tables (e.g., ICD codes or internal checklists) that feed the dropdowns but stay protected from edits.
• A summary or dashboard tab—pivot tables, charts, or quick metrics—that helps me see trends without extra effort.
• Compatibility with Excel 2016 and later, no add-ins required.
Everything will be filled in manually, so the layout must flow logically for keyboard users. I’d also like a short set of instructions or a quick screen-share video so future staff can pick it up without training sessions.
If you’ve built medical or regulated-data spreadsheets before, please mention it and share a redacted sample.
