Convert ODS Formulas to Excel
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m working with a 27-sheet ODS workbook (about 909 formulas) that estimates printing costs. Opening it in Excel breaks many of those formulas because of Calc-specific syntax. There are no custom functions or macros hiding in the file—just regular spreadsheet formulas that now throw #VALUE and related errors.
Your task is to open the original ODS file, translate every broken formula so it complies with native Excel syntax, test each sheet, and return a single .xlsx file that produces identical results to the original OpenOffice version.
Acceptance criteria:
• Every sheet loads in the latest Excel version without errors.
• Calculations match the ODS output to the cent.
• No external links or compatibility warnings remain.
If you work comfortably with complex nested formulas, regional function name mappings, and anything Calc does differently (e.g., semicolon vs. comma separators, array entry quirks), I’d love your help.
