Consumer Behavior Research Assistant

Job ID: 40222677

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I need a detail-oriented virtual assistant who can dedicate time exclusively to research tasks. The assignment centres on market-trend exploration, with a very clear spotlight on current shifts in consumer behaviour.

What I expect from you
• Identify reputable data sources—industry white papers, survey results, academic journals, social media sentiment tools—and pull the latest insights on how buyers are discovering, evaluating, and ultimately choosing products in my sector.
• Distil those findings into concise weekly briefs (no more than two pages each) that highlight emerging patterns, notable statistics, and actionable implications.
• Keep a rolling spreadsheet or Airtable with all references, dates accessed, and direct links so I can verify each insight quickly.
• Flag any sudden changes or surprising anomalies as soon as you see them; real-time awareness is critical for decision-making.

Preferred skills & tools
Comfort with desk-research techniques, Google Scholar, Statista, Similarweb, BuzzSumo, and Excel/Sheets. If you work with other analytics platforms, mention them—flexibility is welcome. Strong written English is a must, because clarity in the briefs matters as much as the data itself.

Acceptance criteria
1. First brief delivered within five days of contract start.
2. At least five authoritative sources cited per report.
3. Insights organised under clear headings: Discovery, Evaluation, Purchase, Post-purchase.
4. Spreadsheet of sources always kept current and share-link enabled.

If that workflow fits your expertise, let me know your availability and a short example of a trend summary you’ve produced before.
