I have a stack of paper-based service sheets for our fleet workshop that now need to live in a clean, searchable Microsoft Excel file. Every document must be transcribed in full detail—date of service, type of work carried out, technician’s name, labour hours, parts used, costs, odometer reading and the next scheduled service date.
The job is straightforward but accuracy is critical: what you key in will drive future maintenance planning and cost analysis, so errors or omissions aren’t an option. You are free to design a clear, logical workbook (separate tabs or a single dynamic table—whichever supports easy filtering and pivot-table reporting), as long as every field from the paper forms is captured.
Deliverables
• An Excel workbook (.xlsx) containing all records, fully validated and neatly formatted
• A brief data dictionary or tab layout note so anyone on my team can understand the structure
Once I supply scanned PDFs of the paper sheets, please confirm record count, estimate turnaround, and flag any illegible entries for clarification before final submission.
