Comprehensive Personal Finance Excel Workbook
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need a single Excel workbook that can run my entire personal-finance life. It has to be very detailed—every individual expense gets its own line—and fully linked so totals flow automatically into an at-a-glance summary.
Income arrives from multiple sources, so each deposit needs to be entered separately and then rolled up by bi-weekly pay period. On the debt side, I’m juggling several credit cards and a loan; the file should let me model different payment amounts, show interest saved, and display a projected payoff date.
Deliverables (all sheets must be cross-referenced and formula-driven):
• Monthly Budget & Expense Tracker (built around bi-weekly pay)
• Savings Progress log with goal visualisation
• Multi-Debt Payoff calculator (credit cards, loans, varying rates)
• Christmas Budget planner
• Gift Budget tracker
• Vacation Budget worksheet
• Summary dashboard pulling key metrics from every sheet
Keep the workbook in .xlsx format, use clear table structures, and avoid macros unless absolutely necessary. A brief on-sheet guide or comments that explain how to add new income lines, categories, or debts will round things off. If every total updates correctly when I enter a new transaction or payment, we’re good to go.
