Job ID: 39902327

Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR

Provide a structured evaluation of any Company (listed company preferred) through the examination of its key financial statements, performance ratios, cash flows, and industry benchmarks over the last five years.
1.Balance Sheet Analysis
The balance sheet should be reviewed to assess the company’s asset base, capital structure, and liquidity position. Emphasis is placed on, long-term debt obligations, and shareholders’ equity to understand trends.
2.Income Statement Analysis
The income statement should be analysed to evaluate revenue growth, profitability, and cost efficiency. Special attention is to be given to gross margin, operating margin, and net profit margin trends.
3.Comparative Ratio Analysis
Key financial ratios—such as liquidity ratios (current ratio, quick ratio), leverage ratios (debt-to-equity, interest coverage), profitability ratios (return on assets, return on equity, net margin), and efficiency ratios (asset turnover, inventory turnover)—should be calculated and compared across the last five years. These ratios should be benchmarked against industry standards to assess relative performance.
4.Cash Flow Analysis
The statement of cash flows should be examined to determine the company’s ability to generate cash from operations, finance growth through investing activities, and manage debt or equity financing.
5.Comparative Trend Analysis (Last Five Years)
Key financial metrics such as revenue, net income, total assets, equity, and cash flow should be plotted across five years to identify growth patterns and structural changes. Graphical representation through comparative charts aids in understanding the trajectory of performance and highlighting strengths and vulnerabilities.

Note
The financial analysis can be conducted using Microsoft Excel for the preparation of statements, application of ratios, and computation of comparative results.
The interpretations, findings, and results derived from the analysis should be consolidated and presented in the form of a formal presentation (PowerPoint/Slides) for clarity and effective communication.
