Company Valuation & Exit Support
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I’m winding down a two-year-old business that has three outside investors, and I need clear, defensible numbers before deciding on the best exit route. Every transaction to date sits in several Excel files that were maintained by non-professionals, so the first step will be to clean and validate that data.
Once the spreadsheets are reliable, I want a concise breakdown of:
• Total capital each investor (and I) put in
• Cumulative operating expenses to date
With those figures locked, your main assignment is to determine the current fair market value of the company and suggest a realistic selling price. Please base your valuation on standard methods (e.g., asset-based, precedent transactions, discounted cash flow—whichever fits our size and industry), explain your rationale plainly, and highlight the assumptions you make. A short list of potential buyer profiles or channels would be a bonus.
Deliverables I expect:
1. Cleaned and reconciled Excel workbook with clear tabs for investments, expenses, and any supporting calculations
2. PDF report summarising investment totals, expense summary, and a defendable valuation figure with methodology explained
3. Action-oriented recommendations for positioning and selling the company, including next steps I should take
Accuracy and transparency are critical; I need numbers I can confidently present to my investors and any prospective buyers. If you’ve done similar small-business valuations and exit advisories, especially when records needed tidying first, that experience will be highly valued.
