Braun-Clarke Thematic Case Analysis
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a qualitative researcher who can walk my data through Braun and Clarke’s six-phase thematic pipeline and present the results as a series of rigorous case study reports. My material is already collected—interviews, focus-group transcripts, and organisational documents for several individual cases.
Here is the workflow I have in mind: first, each data-collection method will be analysed separately within every case, identifying and defining codes, collating them into candidate themes, and refining those themes until they capture the essence of the material. Once the single-method findings are complete, I want a cross-method synthesis that shows how the themes converge, diverge, or extend one another across interviews, group discussion, and documents.
The final dossier should deliver an in-depth, critically reflective narrative that foregrounds key themes and patterns while remaining firmly rooted in the data extracts. Please reference Braun & Clarke (2006, 2019) explicitly in your analytic commentary and illustrate transparency by providing an audit trail (codebook, theme tables, memos). NVivo, MAXQDA or an equivalent CAQDAS package is welcome if it speeds the process, but well-structured spreadsheets are acceptable too—just make sure the logic is traceable.
I will supply the raw transcripts and document set once we start; you return:
• A separate case study report for each case, method-by-method results included
• A comparative cross-case, cross-method synthesis chapter
• Appendices containing the coding framework and supporting excerpts
