Balanced 8-Team Hockey Schedule

I run an 8-team hockey league that plays all its games in a single arena. The ice slots for the entire season are already fixed; what I need is a well-structured round-robin schedule in an Excel spreadsheet that:

• Pairs every team against every other team an equal number of times.
• Rotates the available time slots so each club appears in each slot as evenly as possible.
• Guarantees no back-to-back games for any team and keeps rest days uniform across the board.
•Evenly distributes Bye weeks for it is fair for all teams

Please build the schedule directly in Excel, making sure your formulas remain editable so I can expand or shift dates next season. A clear “master” tab showing the full season calendar plus a team-by-team breakdown tab will be perfect. Highlight any conflicts the sheet catches automatically.
