Baisc low-tech Excel Automation
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
We do some very basic data operations (filter, sort, delete, vlookup) to some data. We then take this data and copy/paste into a master spreadsheet on excel. Using Pivot tables and graphs, we then covert that master data into some visuals (in excel) for a daily operations report, and use the previous days/weeks/months data in the master sheet to provide a trend.
To summarise, we extract yesterdays data from 2 different sources and perform some basic clean up on it. Then we copy/paste into a masterdata table. We use the masterdata table to create visuals and trends.
Then we copy and paste these visuals with some comments and headings into powerpoint, and then convert that powerpoint into PDF to post into a Teams Channel (for visual clarity)
We do this everyday, and it takes us about 1.5 hours.
We want to automate as much of this process as possible, but without complex VBA/Macros or code because the users of this tool are very basic excel users. Prefer to use excel formatting and formulas.
We don't need to use powerpoint if we can achieve similar visual clarity in excel.
I'm very confident its possible to accomplish, just needs someone to do it.
