Automotive Warranty Data Analyst

About the Role We are looking for an experienced warranty or quality engineer to support the analysis of automotive warranty data, focused on safety-critical components delivered to BMW and Stellantis. This is a high-impact freelance opportunity, ideal for a retired professional or independent consultant with a strong background in Tier 1 automotive suppliers or as an SQE for OEMs like BMW or Stellantis.
Key Responsibilities Access and extract C/100 curves and warranty verbatims (service intervention comments) from the BMW and Stellantis supplier portals Analyze warranty data from BMW and Stellantis to identify trends and root causes Build and maintain Pareto analyses and visual reports Set up a regular warranty data monitoring system Create detailed work instructions to ensure a future handover to Flexitech’s internal warranty team
Ideal Candidate Profile Former Warranty Engineer or Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) at BMW, Stellantis, or a leading Tier 1 supplier (e.g., Bosch, Denso, Federal Mogul, Continental, Valeo) Strong experience with the BMW supplier portal; familiarity with Stellantis portals is a strong plus Skilled in interpreting C/100 curves, KPIs, and field feedback comments Independent, structured, and analytically strong Comfortable working remotely and cross-functionally
Additional Information Fully Remote English: mandatory | German: strongly preferred
