I am seeking a suitably qualified professional to design and develop an automated audit sampling workpaper. The workpaper will support auditors in systematically identifying specific items to test and then selecting a statistical sample (using Monetary Unit Sampling – MUS) from the remaining population, in line with ASA 530 / ISA 530 and firm audit methodology.
The tool will form part of the audit working papers and must be transparent, auditable, and defensible, with clear links to source data and automated validation checks.
The solution is expected to be delivered primarily as an Excel-based workpaper.
