Advanced Excel VBA Automation
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
The project centres on transforming a set of production spreadsheets into a streamlined, button-driven solution built entirely in native Excel and VBA. Every calculation, data import, and report generation step should move from manual clicks to a one-click macro so our team can focus on insights rather than upkeep.
Key objectives
• Replace repetitive copy-paste actions with VBA procedures that run reliably across standard Windows installs of Excel.
• Build dynamic summary sheets and charts that refresh automatically when source data changes, giving management an at-a-glance view of current metrics.
• Keep your code readable, modular, and fully commented so we can expand or troubleshoot it after hand-over.
Deliverables
1. A macro-enabled workbook (xlsm) that covers the automation described above.
2. Well-structured VBA modules with clear inline documentation.
3. A brief user guide (PDF or sheet tab) explaining how to trigger each feature and where to update parameters.
Acceptance criteria
– All macros execute without errors on Office 2016 and later.
– Runtime for daily tasks is reduced to under one minute.
– No hard-coded file paths; settings live in a dedicated config sheet.
Feel free to suggest additional optimisations or best-practice approaches; the cleaner and faster the workflow, the better.
