Join a leading AI lab's cutting-edge GenAI team and help build foundational AI models from the ground up. We're seeking advanced Excel experts with deep, hands-on experience in the Office / Retail Management domain to bring real-world spreadsheet and analytical expertise that elevates the quality of our AI training data.
This role is for professionals who apply advanced Excel — modeling, data analysis, dashboards, and automation — to office and retail management work such as sales and inventory tracking, staffing and scheduling, P&L and budget modeling, and KPI dashboards and reporting.
This is a W-2 employment position with Cincinnatus LLC, with the opportunity to be placed at a leading AI Lab as part of their extended workforce.
2. Key Responsibilities
Guide research teams to close knowledge gaps and improve AI model performance on Excel-based tasks within the Office / Retail Management domain.
Design realistic, domain-relevant Excel tasks drawn from your professional experience, and write accurate, well-structured solutions.
Evaluate Excel tasks and solutions and provide clear, written feedback.
Collaborate with other subject matter experts to ensure consistency and accuracy in training data.
3. Core Qualifications
Demonstrated advanced, professional-level Excel expertise, including advanced formulas (e.g., XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, dynamic arrays), PivotTables, data modeling, dashboards, Power Query, Power Pivot, and macros/VBA.
Hands-on professional experience applying Excel within the Office / Retail Management domain.
Demonstrable career progression in your field.
Ability to engage reliably for at least 20 hours/week during weekdays.
Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, and interpersonal skills.
