Advanced Calculation Algorithms for Fitness App
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
Requirement Description
We are developing a software application that connects via Bluetooth to wearable sensors during physical activities such as cycling and running, in order to monitor users’ core body temperature.
Currently, we need to re-establish the calculation algorithms that are required for our system. Specifically, we are looking for support in defining the following formulas/models:
A formula to estimate the user’s core body temperature, based on inputs such as skin temperature, heat flux, heart rate, and other relevant physiological/environmental parameters.
A formula to evaluate the user’s Heat Strain Index (HSI) during exercise, reflecting the intensity of thermal load.
A formula or model to assess the user’s heat adaptation value, which indicates the long-term physiological improvements and adaptations caused by exercising in hot environments.
We would like to collaborate with experts or providers who can supply or design these formulas, either based on established scientific models or customized solutions.
