Accurate Paper to Excel Data Entry

I have several stacks of paper records that need to be transcribed by hand into a clean, well-structured Excel workbook. Everything will be done manually—no OCR or automated tools—so I’m prioritising accuracy and consistency over speed.

You’ll receive scanned images of the original sheets, along with a sample template that shows exactly how each column in the final spreadsheet should look. I’ll be spot-checking entries, so I expect a very low error rate, clear formatting, and adherence to the template at all times.

Deliverables
• One fully populated Excel file matching the template
• A brief completion log noting any illegible items or anomalies you encounter

Acceptance criteria
• 99 %+ accuracy when cross-checked against the source pages
• Consistent date, number, and text formatting throughout the workbook
• No missing or merged cells unless they appear in the original document
