Youtube 4K AI History Video Production
Budget: $50 – $100 CAD
I’m building a large catalogue of AI-narrated history videos and need a skilled editor who can transform my finished scripts into visually compelling 4K episodes. Every video centres on major historical events, spanning ancient, medieval, and modern periods, so you’ll move from the Battle of Thermopylae to the Industrial Revolution and beyond without missing a beat.
The backbone of each episode is a clear, tight script—I supply that in advance. Your job is to match every paragraph to on-screen footage, photographs, and especially to classic static maps that convey troop movements, trade routes, or territorial shifts. Subtle zooms or Ken Burns movements are welcome, but the overall look should feel authentic and scholarly rather than cartoonish.
What I expect from you for each video
• A polished 4K master (3840×2160, ProRes or high-bitrate H.264)
• All project files and assets neatly organised (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut—your choice)
• Licensed or royalty-free imagery, music, and SFX that match the era in question
• Accurate map inserts that align perfectly with the narrative timing
• Consistent colour grading, tasteful transitions, and crisp onscreen text
Turnaround is typically one video per week, but I have the pipeline to keep a fast editor busy for months. If the first delivery nails the pacing, map work, and overall polish, expect a steady flow of episodes—and we can agree on milestone payments tied to each completed video to keep pricing transparent and fair.
Drop a quick note describing your experience with history content, sample links to 4K work (especially anything featuring maps), and the editing platform you prefer. If your style meshes with mine, we’ll start with a paid test episode and grow from there.
