Teach Me How to Polish A 7-Minute Health Video
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I have already trimmed a 7-minute, head-shot YouTube video on women’s health in DaVinci Resolve and now want to elevate it with a clean, professional finish. The brief is straightforward:
• Colour grade every shot for a natural look—skin tones must stay true, lighting balanced, and overall image consistent.
• Add text call-outs that simply fade in and out at key teaching points; nothing flashy, just clear and readable.
• Work in light motion graphics and a couple of tasteful title cards to keep viewers engaged without distracting from the content.
I’ll pass you the Resolve project, all source footage, and a rough time-coded script so you can see where each graphic or title should land. When you’re done, please send back:
1. The updated .drp (or exported XML) with all colour, text, and animation layers intact.
2. A final 1080p MP4 ready for upload.
3. Any reusable graphic assets you create.
If you build motion graphics in a separate app (After Effects, Fusion, etc.) just be sure they can be relinked or rendered easily inside Resolve for future tweaks. Looking forward to seeing how you can add polish while keeping the video warm, friendly, and informative.
