Revamp VHS-Based Film Teaser

Job ID: 40305033

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I have a three-minute sizzle cut for my feature film that still carries several raw VHS segments. I’m happy with the gritty charm those shots give, yet the overall piece now needs a full technical refresh so it can impress the director I want on board—plus any other top-tier talent who screens it.

Here’s what I’m after:

• Visual look: Preserve the unmistakable VHS aesthetics (scan lines, slight color shift) but lift the overall image—clean digital repairs, tasteful grain management, smart color work, and selective up-resing so nothing feels soft or dated for the wrong reasons.

• Effects upgrade: The priority is eye-catching modern visual effects that blend naturally with the retro material—motion-graphics overlays, titles, light leaks, whatever sells the story without betraying the vintage vibe.

• Bright, polished finish: Add subtle stylized transitions where needed, balance exposure, and ensure any flicker or tape warble enhances rather than distracts.

• Sound is mostly set; feel free to make minor fixes, but visuals rule.

Deliverable: a single, export-ready 3:00 teaser (ProRes 422 HQ or high-bitrate H.264) plus the project files from your preferred toolkit—DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, Premiere, or similar—so I can tweak if needed.

If you’ve successfully married retro footage with current-gen polish before, show me. Let’s give this teaser the vibrant, director-luring makeover it deserves.
