Minimalistic Music Shorts Editing
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I’m building a consistent flow of short-form music cover videos for YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels, and I’d like an editor who can polish each clip inside DaVinci Resolve while keeping a minimalistic, clean aesthetic. The core of the job is straightforward: I give you the raw vertical footage plus separate audio stems, and you return a snappy 15–60 second reel that looks cinematic yet uncluttered.
Key touches I’m after
• Cinematic colour grading that feels airy and modern, without crushing blacks or oversaturating skin tones.
• Precise audio-video sync so vocal and instrument hits line up perfectly.
• Simple on-screen text (song title, credits, occasional call-to-action) that complements the clean look.
• Light cuts, trims and ripple edits so the performance stays engaging from first frame to last.
I monitor levels and rough-mix the audio in my DAW, but I’m happy to learn better practices—if you’re comfortable suggesting quick fixes inside Resolve’s Fairlight or another DAW, that’s a bonus.
Deliverables for each video
1. Final 1080 x 1920 mp4 (H.264, 30 fps).
2. DaVinci Resolve .drp project with all colour nodes intact.
3. A small LUT or still that lets me match-grade future takes.
Turnaround is ideally 48 hours per clip once assets arrive. If this workflow fits your style, let’s talk and lock in the first batch.
