Military Documentary Style Video Animator / Editor

Job ID: 39857153

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I am starting a YouTube channel focused on 8–10-minute military documentaries and I’m looking for someone to become my go-to partner on every episode. I will supply the script, narration, and a storyboard as guidance. . Your role is to bring each story to life by building realistic animation sequences, laying in graphics generated with AI tools where useful, stock footage, b roll and polishing the overall soundscape so the final cut feels cinematic and immersive.

The work revolves around:
• Creating believable, historically accurate motion graphics or 3D inserts (think troop movements, battlefield layouts, weapon call-outs).
• Mixing narration, archival audio, SFX, and a music bed so the track is crisp and balanced across devices.
• Delivering a ready-to-upload a high resolution HD/4K file plus the editable project files.

If you regularly work in After Effects, Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve, and have experience using AI image or video generation to speed up asset creation without sacrificing realism, this will fit you perfectly.

For our first paid test collaboration I’ll send over a small one minute script and storyboard for about a one minute or under video.. Show me how you would:
1. Integrate at least one or two short, realistic animation shots.
2. Produce a clean, dynamic mix that keeps dialogue front-and-center.
3. If editing create a 1 minute hybrid ai / b roll /stock footage, video of the scene selected

Consistency and historical respect are paramount, so attention to detail counts more than flashy transitions. If the pilot episode goes well, I have a full slate of videos queued, so we can lock into a long-term rhythm. Send a link to one or two recent pieces you've done. I am willing to split the job between the ai animation and editor.

Long term Bonuses and Raises are included over time.
