VR Greenscreen Batch Video Alignment
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have 90 very short greenscreen clips (each under 30 seconds, 5–30 MB) that will be composited inside a VR scene. To make them drop-in ready I need a clean, uniform batch edit:
• Manual centering and scale matching
At the first and last frame the performer must sit dead-center and at the exact size shown in the single reference video I’ll provide. Use visual judgement rather than automated tools so the framing feels natural.
• Tight cropping
Remove all unused side areas so only the performer and a small safety margin remain.
• Greenscreen leveling
Balance exposure and tint so the background reads as one solid, evenly lit green across every file. This should make future chroma-key pulls fast and artifact-free.
• Optimised deliverables
Export each finished clip as an MP4 encoded with H.265 (HEVC). Please aim for the smallest file size that still preserves the clarity of skin tones and clothing—these files will live on a standalone VR headset with limited storage. Name the exports exactly as the originals to keep the pipeline consistent.
I’ll share original footage, a finished sample, and the reference framing guide as soon as we start. Adobe Premiere, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar pro tools are all fine as long as the results meet the following acceptance checks:
1. Subject position and scale match the reference within a 5-pixel tolerance.
2. No green spill on edges; background reads #00FF00 ± 3 %.
3. Render passes Unity’s native chroma-key with default settings.
4. Total size for each file stays equal to or below the original when possible.
You'll start with a handful of files - no more than 5. I'll review and approve (and compensate you for your effort). Then you'll send back the rest of the 90 ready-to-use MP4s plus any project files or LUTs you create in case tweaks are needed later. I’m looking to turn this around quickly, so let me know your estimated timeline for each step.
