Full-Time Cinematic Vlog Editor
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 AUD
We run a cinematic travel family YouTube channel built around long-form vlogs. Every week we capture hours of behind-the-scenes footage, travel sequences, and unscripted moments that need to be shaped into immersive 30-50 minute episodes. The finished videos should feel cinematic: thoughtful pacing, smooth transitions, tasteful text callouts, tight audio mixing, and LOG colour work that is highly cinematic.
DaVinci Resolve is the core of my post-production pipeline, so deep familiarity with its editing, Fusion, Fairlight, and colour pages is essential. You’ll be working full-time, handling everything from rough assembly through final export, while keeping project files organised for easy hand-off and revisions. You will be working alongside our head editor who has been working with us for 2.5 years.
Deliverables for each episode
• 4K master video ready for upload (proper YouTube bitrate & loudness)
• Resolve project file with all assets neatly organised
• Two short highlight moments repurposed as vertical clips
Consistent communication, quick turnaround on notes, and a creative eye for story flow will make this collaboration successful. If cinematic long-form vlogs are your comfort zone and Resolve is second nature, let’s start editing together.
This is a full-time role, paid weekly.
