Expert Video Editor for Financial YouTube Channel

We are hiring a highly skilled Video Editor for a YouTube channel focused on in-depth research on stocks, sectors, macroeconomics, and market psychology.

This is NOT basic vlog editing.
We need someone who can turn raw scripts or audio into highly structured, visually engaging, data-driven videos that feel like institutional-level research content.

Key Responsibilities

Convert research scripts or voiceovers into compelling, professional YouTube videos

Add dynamic charts, stock price visuals, financial data overlays, and infographics

Visually explain complex financial concepts (P/E, CAGR, debt ratios, sector rotation, macro trends, etc.)

Source relevant B-roll (markets, economy, business, global events)

Maintain strong pacing to avoid boring, lecture-style delivery

Add clean motion graphics, lower thirds, and animated data points

Sync visuals precisely with narration for clarity

Create engaging hooks and smooth transitions

Optimize for YouTube retention (cuts, pattern interrupts, pacing shifts)

Required Skills

Strong understanding of stock market basics (mandatory)

Ability to interpret financial statements and convert numbers into visuals

Proficiency in:

Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro

After Effects (for financial animations)

DaVinci Resolve (optional but strong plus)

Experience editing finance, business, or documentary-style content

Ability to create clean data visualizations

Knowledge of YouTube retention strategies

Ideal Candidate

Has edited for finance / investing channels before

Understands storytelling in business analysis

Can take minimal instructions and independently structure the video

Doesn’t overuse flashy effects — keeps it professional and data-focused

Deliverables

1 fully edited YouTube video per week (10–20 minutes)

Thumbnail suggestions (optional bonus skill)

Compensation
