Video Editor – YouTube Shorts (CapCut)
Looking for a video editor to cut YouTube Shorts on a regular basis. You'll be turning raw footage into fast-paced, engaging short-form content optimized for retention and watch time.
You'll be doing:
Editing raw clips into polished YouTube Shorts (captions, pacing, transitions, sound design)
Working in CapCut — please only apply if you're comfortable/fast in CapCut specifically
Adding trending sounds, text overlays, and hooks that keep viewers watching
Keeping a consistent style/pace across videos
You should have:
A portfolio of Shorts/Reels/TikToks you've edited (send links, not just a general reel)
Solid grasp of what makes short-form content retain viewers (hooks in first 1-2 seconds, pacing, etc.)
Fast turnaround — can usually deliver daily.
When you reply, drop a link to two or three Shorts you’ve edited that showcase smooth transitional work and integrated motion graphics. If everything clicks, this will turn into a steady stream of weekly episodes.
