Davinci Resolve Subtitle replace/cover the old burned subtitles

I have an older video that I’m now remastering in DaVinci Resolve. The English subtitles are already burned into the video and need to extract the old to cover the new text with background into the text to cover old text.
I will send the Davinci Resolve project and need the export project to render.
Video is around 2.4 hours
