I am looking for a Davinci Resolve Studio expert who can
- restore bad footage with poor lighting (backlit recording)
- correct coloring (due to forgotten usage of color card)
The ideal candidate should have experience in the following:
Skills and Experience:
- Expertise in using Davinci Resolve Studio for video restoration
- Proficiency in color grading and correction to improve poor lighting
- Ability to enhance the overall quality of the footage
- Knowledge of advanced techniques to minimize noise and artifacts
- very good expertise on bringing a video into good total quality with equal looking coloring over all footage sources (cams)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Your task will be:
- create davinci resolve studio projects with required settings
- coaching of junior cutters
- coaching of junior videographers
If you have the necessary skills and experience, please provide examples of your previous work in restoring footage with poor lighting.
Milestones
MS1:
you will get footage with high backlit and thus low quality recordings. (about 2 minutes of footage)
Your job will be to repair the scene to be sharp and naturally saturated
Explain the videographer in Davinci what you did and far more important how to avoid these mistakes next time
MS2:
you will get a davinci project with footage and already precutted and the full scene will have to be color graded so that all scenes look the same. (about 3 minutes of project length)
Your job will be to color grade everything into have the same look
Explain the videographer in Davinci what you did and far more important how to avoid these mistakes next time
Software:
We are open to listen to use additional software, BUT
you need to get a PRIOR confirm to use that software, so that we can check about licensing (costs and terms) before you use that software
In all Milestones it will be required to have a call with the videographers and to discuss with them what was done and needs to be done.
Based on this it would be also an option to hire you for regular work. (Coaching but also editing and color grading)
